::back to basics::

I'm at that point where I'd like to take my whole wardrobe to Goodwill and start over. Not think twice, throw it in the bag and donate it kinda stage.

First on the list are a bunch of closet staples: plain cotton tees, nice denim, simple skirts and slip-on dresses. These are my favorites because they're classic, comfortable and easy to layer to create different looks.

My favorite places to shop online for vintage is Dear Golden. Hands down. Each pieces makes me want to drive straight up to Michigan and try on all the beautiful wears. The dresses, blouses and shoes are in great condition and most very wearable, not so much for this gypsy eye-candy.

There's so much to love about vintage clothing. Dresses that show off your waist, flirty lace details, the perfection of color palettes and so lady-like. I've been collecting some vintage dresses, shoes, bags and accessories for an extension to the 6 petals shop. This weekend I'll be photographing that collection. There's still some work to be done before the debut, but it's gonna be cool. Promise.

Lately, I've been feeling at bit unstylish. I blame winter. But now that it's officially Spring, here's to getting out of this funk and into creative dressing. I'd rather be wearing these looks...

After a busy last week and eventful weekend, I'm finally sitting down to post. Hi.

How cool is this wearable foods series by Yeonju Sung -- constructive art forms made with food. Awesome colors naturally mixed with subtle prints. I'd rock a radish dress.

I finally got a juicer and I can't wait to try new recipes. The green juice was on tonight's menu. Anyone have a 'oh-my-you-need-to-try-this' concoction?

I'm at the airport waiting to board. Florida, here I come! Back to the 75 degree Christmases I know + love.

With the Florida sunshine on my mind, I'm really looking forward to Spring-- especially knowing these are in the future-- stripes, dots +  crisp whites.

I put on these floral tights (+ other layers) for a birthday celebration and a trip to the hospital– our friend gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Keller. Everyone who saw me thought I had tattoos all over my legs or some sort of skin disease. I keep people guessing.

Do you ever have the urge to just get all dressed up but nowhere to go? That's me, right now. Instead, I paired these pretty little numbers with vintage pieces from the shop. That gold dress down there would be so fun to twirl around in with the long fringe. And that orange sleeve detail makes me smile. A little mixing + matching...
